Our Chancel Choir participates in Sunday morning worship every Sunday, September through May. Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm. Michael Hefner is the Director.

Join First Christian Church and St. Paul’s United Church of Christ as we hear the story of the coming of Jesus and sing Christmas Carols to welcome the coming of Jesus. A joyous way to kick off Advent in a year that is unlike any other.
I am excited and honored to be leading music at FCC and I would like to invite anyone that has the desire to sing (even if you’ve never been in a choir before) to join the choir! Rehearsals will begin on Wednesday, August 28 from 6:30-8:00pm, and we will begin singing for the services on Sunday, September 8 (week after Labor Day). We would love to have you come and join us. I hope to see you there!

Join us for a great evening of song from the Razor’s Edge Barbershop Chorus. It will be an evening of songs, stories, and jokes. The show begins at 7:00 p.m.

We will say farewell to our Music Director, Rachel Eve Davis. There will be a reception following worship in her honor and a box will be available for notes of appreciation.
Rachel Eve has served as our Worship and Choir Accompanist and later served as our Music Director.

Chartered and in continuous existence since 1946, the Middletown (Razor’s Edge) Chapter of the Barbershop HarmonySociety is a diverse group of men devoted to sharing the “good vibes” that are unique to unaccompanied music sung in the Barbershop Style. Our Razor’s Edge Chorus and chapter quartets perform year-round, spreading goodwill through the sharing of our vocal talents.
Their charitable projects include sponsorships to Buckeye Boy’s state and Harmony Foundation, which funds music education of all types. Each year, we sponsor two local students to the Greater Cincinnati Harmony Festival, a student choral workshop. We’ve provided our singing talents for many worthy causes in and around Middletown including United Way, Butler County MRDD, Dream Works, MiddFest, All-American Weekend, and Abilities Fir

If you’ve got rhythm, then FCC has music for you to play in the Handbell Choir! For the experienced ringer or for one who’d just like to give ringing a try, there’s a place for you this summer. If you enjoy singing (or think you just might want to give it a try), come to choir rehearsals at 7:00 pm beginning Thursday, August 29. The Praise Team meets at 8:00 pm. The ability to read music is NOT a prerequisite, and the benefits of serving in this capacity are boundless!
